Wine Cork Christmas Ornament

Christmas ornament made of wine corks.

Easy DIY Holiday Idea

A Christmas tree ornament made out of wine corks with an imitation cork screw fashioned at the top.

Here is what you will need for this project:

Glue
1 Screw
16 Wine Corks
Some ribbon
A hand drill
A screwdriver

DIY Instructions:

Step 1 - Glue five wine corks together, lengthwise. This is your base.

Step 2 - Glue four wine corks together, lengthwise.

Step 3 - Glue three wine corks together, lengthwise.

Step 4 - Glue two wine corks together, lengthwise.

Step 5 - Let dry

Step 6 - Now that your parts are dry it's time to assemble them. Stack and glue them together in a pyramid type fashion. Let dry.

Step 7 - Take one cork to and drill a starter hole in the lengthwise side with your hand drill.

Step 8 - Take your screwdriver and screw your screw it all the way through. This is your imitation cork screw.

Step 9 - Screw your imitation cork screw into the top of your "cork tree".

Step 10 - Tie a ribbon around the neck to use to hang your ornament.

That's it!
