Make Your Own Candy Corn Decoration

Easy Halloween DIY Craft

A very easy, fun, and quick Halloween craft idea.

For this project you will need:

A dollar store Stryofoam cone
Dollar store poster paint
Masking tape
Paint brushes or dollar store cotton swabs

Bought a Styrofoam cone at the dollar store. Found in the floral isle.

Plastic wrapper removed from the dollar store Styrofoam cone.

Most of my craft ideas are for non-crafters who don't have all the tools like glue guns, paint brushes, etc. So I use things that you probably already have around your house or very inexpensive things at the dollar store. 

I use dollar store cotton swabs to paint my poster paints with. They are inexpensive but they do fall apart fairly quickly so you can use paint brushes if have them.

Use masking tape to section off the areas between the yellow and the orange colors. The white area is left as it is, unpainted.

I used orange paint from the dollar store.

I used dollar store yellow poster paint. I already had the orange paint above but you can just mix a little bit of red poster paint with some yellow poster paint in another container to get your orange color.

And that's it! Simple, simple, simple and it looks yummy! I put it on a cabinet with other Halloween decorations that I made and posted about here on this blog.
