Halloween Sign Pointing to Hell

Halloween Hell Sign

Easy craft decoration for Halloween - A sign to Hell

What you will need for this project:

Scrap wood
Dollar store black poster paint
Dollar store red finger paint
Dollar store red glitter/glue
Scrap paper
Scissors
Masking tape
Twine
Paint brushes or dollar store cotton swabs

I painted a scrap of wood with black dollar store poster paint.

I use dollar store cotton swabs for most craft painting projects because they are inexpensive and disposable. They do fall apart quickly but for simple projects it saves finding and washing paint brushes.

I took some pieces of scrap typing paper and taped them together to make a mask for lettering. The open mask area is just a solid block area. See pictured above.

I filled in the open area of the typing paper mask with red finger paint I bought from the dollar store. The red finger paint dries more like flames than the red poster paint.

After each area was dried I move the mask to make the rest of the block lettering.

Dollar store glitter and glue combined.

I outlined the block lettering with the red glitter glue combo.

Outlined letter with red glitter glue before it dried flat.

Then I took some twine and some scrap cardboard and glued it to the backside of the board for hanging.

That's it! Now you have a Halloween sign with an arrow pointed down to Hell!
