Halloween Zombie Beer Bottle Decoration
Halloween Zombie Beer Bottles
Make zombie beer bottles for Halloween
Decorative Zombie Beer Bottles with worm peaking out of bottle and cup.
Neat idea for a Halloween decoration.
What you will need for this project:
Beer bottles
Beer caps
Black poster paint
Gray paint
Red spray paint
Burgundy/red poster paint
Silver foil
Bubble gum
Paper
Styrofoam cups
Bevel-edged scissors
Glue
Paint brushes or cotton swabs
Paint a beer bottle gray. Let dry.
Poster paints from the dollar store.
I paint with dollar store cotton swabs. They are inexpensive and disposable. Great for small craft projects. You can use paint brushes if you want.
Add water to black poster paint container. Paint the bottle with the watered down black poster paint. Let the paint drip down the bottle. Let the gray paint show through.
Repeat this process with other beer bottles. Let dry.
Make the bottles different shades of black and gray.
Get some silver foil. I used foil from dollar store crackers I had. You can use any aluminum foil you have.
Use beveled scissors to cut the foil to make the zombie beer labels. Make the bottom label wider than the bottle neck label.
Glue the silver foil diagonally around the bottle.
Make a worm. Chew a piece of bubble gum. Wash the piece of gum with water. Shape the gum into a small worm with a hooked end.
Paint the shaped bubble gum a dark red. Let dry. Use black poster paint to dab eyes and mouth on the worm.
Hook the end of the worm in the bottle opening.
To make aged beer cap, collect beer caps and spray paint them with the red spray paint.
Bottle caps spray painted red.
Paint over the red caps with watered down black poster paint. Let dry.
To make your zombie drinking cups, get some Styrofoam cups. Bite out the top edges.
Paint the cup gray. Let dry.
Add water to your black poster paint container. Paint the cup with the watery black paint. Let it drip down in some areas.
Add water to your red poster paint. I added some watery black paint to the container to make it a darker red or burgundy color. Drip the watery paint on the cup. Let dry.
Make another worm and add to the cup.
