Make Flower Bouquet from Plastic Grocery Bags

All you will need for this project is nine plastic grocery bags and a pair of scissors. That's it. Nothing else! Great way to recycle these plastic bags

Here's what you will need for this project:


3 - dark gray plastic grocery bags
6 - white plastic grocery bags
Pair of scissors

Instructions:

Step 1 - Lay a plastic bag out flat.

Step 2 - Cut a 1/4 strip off the bottom of the bag - save this strip.

Step 3 - Cut out the logo and any other writing.

Step 4 - Gather the bag so that the handles are on one end and the "cut off bottom" is on the other end.

Step 5 - Hold in the middle.

Step 6 - Fold the "cut off bottom" inward about 1/4 of the way.

Step 7 - Fold again.

Step 8 - Separate the handles.

Step 9 - Wrap one handle around the folded section once.

Step 10 - Wrap the other handle around the folded section in the opposite direction.

Step 11 - Tie the handles together.

Step 12 - Cut off about 1/2 inch of the folded area.

Step 13 - Gently fluff out the flower. 

Step 14 - When you get three flowers finished tie them together with the strip you cut off the bag in step #2. This will give you a mini-bouquet. 

Put your three bouquets into a drinking glass.

And now you have a bouquet of flowers made only from plastic grocery bags. And a great way to recycle these plastic bags.
