Made From Toilet Paper Rolls

What you will need to complete this project:

9 Toilet paper rolls for one flower

Paint

Wine Cork

Bamboo wood stick

Glue

Scissors

 Put your toilet paper roll in water.

 Let it soak and unroll.

Take it out of the water and lay flat to dry.

Lay two flattened toilet rolls on top of each other and with your scissors round the edges. Then snip around the edges leaving the middle area untouched.

After drying, glue the two pieces together in the center area only. Repeat these steps with other toilet paper rolls. Let dry.

Paint your toilet paper rolls. I painted two sets of gray base and two sets of yellow base then went back and free form painted gray onto the yellow and yellow onto the gray. 

I cut a wine cork in half and painted it gray. I took a wood bamboo skewer black.

Punch holes into the center of your petals (painted toilet rolls). Push your skewer (stem) through the petals. Arrange them in a crisscross fashion. Drill a hole into your half piece of painted cork to top it all off.

I took another dried toilet paper roll and painted green as the base then then took a paper towel with white paint on it and free form stamped the white onto the green. This is the leaves part of the flower.

Punched a hole in the green leaf and then pushed it up the bamboo wood skewer and now my exotic flower made from toilet paper rolls is complete.
