Festive Blue Pine Glitter Cone Centerpiece
Blue Glitter Pine Cone Centerpiece
Fun way to add some color and glitz to a centerpiece.
What you will need for this arts & crafts project:
Pine Cones
Blue Paint
Glue
Blue Glitter
Blue Ribbon
A paint brush - I use dollar store cotton swabs to paint with and to put on glue.
A vase
First collect your pine cones.
Wash your pine cones in warm soapy water to get rid of dirt and bugs. The pine cones will shrink up when wet.
Lay the pine cones out to dry for a couple of days. They will open up again when dry.
Paint half of your pine cones with the blue paint. Leave the rest unpainted as they will be at the bottom of the vase and will not be seen.
When dry, cover pine cones with glue and then sprinkle the blue glitter. Dump excess glitter and then repeat as necessary to cover the pine cone in glitter.
Tie a ribbon around your vase.
Put the unpainted pine cones into your vase.
Stack the painted pine cones on top to your liking. I left the stack of them unglued so that I can use the blue glittered pine cones in other projects if I want to later.
That's it!
