Halloween Bloody Log 

Wood used as club with bloody dripping end

There are two ways to make a bloody log. You can use red/burgundy spray paint or you can use red and black regular paint. I've posted both ways below.

What you will need for this project:

Wood logs
White paint
Water
Dollar store red and black poster paint
or
Red spray paint

Paint parts of the a log with solid white paint. Don't paint the whole log white only patches as pictured above. Let dry.

Add white paint to a container of water. Mix up the watered down paint. Paint the rest of the log with the watery white paint. Let dry.

Whitewash several logs.

For the spray paint method. Use a red or burgundy spray paint. Spray the end of the log excessively so that some of the paint drips lengthwise. Spray in patches not all over.  You want some of the white at the end to show through.

The second method of of making a bloody wooden club with dollar store red and black poster paint. Paint the end with red paint. Let dry.

Paint over the same red areas with the black poster paint. Let dry.

That's it! Now you've got a spooky and scary bloody logs. Just assemble them in a basket of some type. Arranged so that the bloody logs are on top and noticeable.

I added red stickers to make it look like the club is dripping on my table. You can use actual poster paint red drops if you like.
